Product Details

Think you know a little about a lot? Put your mind to the test with WIT'S END. This trivia game will not just test your knowledge, but engage how you think through solving a problem. Answer questions in four mind challenging categories as you work your way to the center of the board. Think laterally and wrap your mind around a TEASER, deduce the ODD-1-OUT, figure out the SEQUENCE, or try your luck in the WILD CARD category. Be on your toes, the questions are packed with riddles and brain teasers on history, popular culture, geography, science, arts and more. Think hard, but don't find yourself at your Wit's End! Includes 1600 questions on 400 game cards, large game board, playing pieces, die, and instruction sheet.

  • More than just trivia, Wit's End is a game of brain teasers & riddles in diverse categories.
  • In TEASERS you solve mind riddles; In ODD-1-OUT you find which out of four options do not belong.
  • In SEQUENCE in put things in order (by year, weight, size etc); in WILD CARD anything goes.
  • Includes 1600 questions about popular culture, geography, arts, history, science and more...
  • An Award Winner! For 2-6 players (up to 18 players with teams). Ages 16 to Adult.

The game is called Wit's End, which is just where you might find yourself when playing this lively contest of lateral, literal, and level-lifting thinking. Players try to reach the summit of the board by answering questions in four categories such as Odd 1 Out, Teaser, Sequence, or the ever-troubling Wild Card--a nerve-jangling catchall for trivia, slang, quotations, and time-limited queries. Wit's End is tougher than most trivia-based games, and it's deceptive, too. Players needn't answer all categories to win, so how tough can it be to move up the board? Well, for every "Arrange Jaws, The Sting, and Star Wars by release date" there's a "Borneo is to 3, as Hispanola is to: 1, 2, 3, or 4?" (And it's got nothing to do with number of syllables--we peeked.) If you can name four European countries starting with S (while an opponent counts to 30), can you do as well with "millimeter is to centimeter, as chain is to: link, decimeter, furlong, or ounce"? There's also an optional "Sorry!" feature that allows you to bounce an opponent down a level for correct answers to certain questions. Smart and sophisticated, with a soupçon of luck, Wit's End is a game to challenge both great wits and those only halfway there. --Tony Mason

Great for old trivial pursuit fans - Katy -
I like this game, its not dvd, ipod or anything techy BUT the questions are challenging for everyone! I like that music fans and history nerds can play a game together!

So, he cannot really see where the fish are, as the fish cards are placed face down. Therefore, he does not know whether he is catching a fish or garbage. When he is lucky enough to catch a fish, he will not know until he lands it how valuable it is. With clever movement of his fish, the fish player tries to get garbage and small fish onto the angler's hooks. After one game, the players switch roles.
